CAREERS AT CGI

Integrating into CGI

We created this section for members transitioning to CGI through companies we have acquired or through client companies whereby IT professionals join our team as part of a long-term outsourcing contract.

CGI has integrated over 65 companies into its operations since it went public. Over the years the company has established a systematic approach to introducing new members to the company. Integration has become a core competency at CGI.

We know that you probably have questions. All your questions should be answered during your integration meetings. In the meantime, here are the answers to the most frequently-asked questions.

Q: What happens during integration?

A: CGI has gained experience integrating new members into the organization using a comprehensive transition plan. The plan is designed to quickly handle key questions and concerns, to enable new CGI members to understand, adjust and reflect on the positive aspects of the integration, and most importantly, to reduce uncertainty and to retain the focus on service delivery. Transition is only part of our success with our members. We must also ensure that the ongoing career life of our members is equally successful for them in the long-term.

During the transition process, new members will learn all about CGI including: our vision, our management philosophy and how we live our values on a daily basis.
